Ecru Beads
These are tiny glass beads, a particularly small type of antique bead.
Evenly sized grains create an elegant and refined look, and the ecru color makes the skin look beautiful.
Tiny seed beads, like poppy seeds, look lovely simply strung together to make a necklace. You can also use any leftover beads to make matching bracelets or rings.
For threading the beads, it's recommended to use extremely thin fishing line rather than regular thread. The holes in the beads themselves are very small, so a needle won't go through. Threading the fishing line directly is easier and surprisingly quick. A fishing line of size 1 or smaller is recommended.
† Sold individually (approximately 40cm each). The bundled photo is an illustrative image showing several dozen bundled together.
†The thread attached is old. Please be sure to re-thread it with new thread before use.
†The long necklace in the last photo is for reference only. It uses two and a little more of the beads from this project.
