An old French mannequin. It was used as a model for painters.
The weathered, aged look of the wood is appealing. The body appears to be made of oak, while the ball joints in the neck, torso, and leg joints are likely made of smooth-grained buy wood.
The joints have thin springs inside, and the intricate design allows for a wide range of poses.
An object that looks beautiful when placed in an interior. I want to create and enjoy a scene that tells a story.
